Maree is a registered nurse with 40 years’ experience, including emergency, community and palliative care nursing. Maree has been a Credentialed Diabetes Educator for the last 16 years and has a special interest in Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes, pre diabetes and Gestational diabetes. She has completed the Oz DAFNE facilitator course and has extensive experience in Type 1 diabetes and management, including continuous glucose monitoring, pump starts and optimising insulin pump therapy.

Maree is the person to help you on your journey and to empower you and help you to live a healthy life with diabetes. Maree offers personalised support keeping in mind everyone’s journey is different. She is knowledgeable, friendly, approachable and non-judgmental, and encourages self-management helping patients to take control of their own health and lead a fulfilling, healthy, happy and active life.
